I'm about 12 miles from Delacroix right now at work. If tomorrow is anything like today, we'll be able to fish. Gonna get a little wet, but will still be able to fish. It has rained once since 7:00 for about five minutes. Looks like it'll do this all day. Tomorrow's forecast at least shows a little more sun.

The clouds are rolling through here pretty quick right now. Shouldn't be very long. The wind is gonna be a pain in the arse in the yak, but you can get in some pretty protected areas pretty quick down here. Stake Out Pole will be a MUST. Pop, if you don't have one with you, let me know. I can tell you where I'm working and you can stop by and grab one of mine on your way.

Is not getting a fishing license a bad idea? I don't plan on going far out in the yak 1 because I will get lost and 2 I will be intoxicated

Oh, one last thing. For anyone that doesn't know the area. Make sure you have EVERYTHING before you leave Chalmette. There's not frick once you get past there. The little marinas down there sell a little bit, but nothing worth having. Also, if you're gonna get bait, DO NOT stop at the first boat launch in Delacroix. That woman is a complete bitch. Go on down to Sweetwater. Jack will fix you up right.

Bama try to get your license online. I am at Academy and apparently the LDWF system is down until the first.
