If you’re getting 100AHr for $250, you’re building them yourself with parts from ali express.
The cheapest 100 AHr’s I know of are gonna run you about $700/battery. If you catch some specials just right, I’ve heard of between $5-600.
I have 100AHrs in both my boat and golf cart. Well worth it IMO

The lowest I am seeing from a reputable company for trolling motor is 54ah at $325 from Impulse. K&K Kustomz on BBC is a dealer. Seriously considering those for the new boat because agm batteries are going to be right at $200 per anyway.

That little 10 AH ain’t gonna cut it in my boat
Good thing is there finally having some competition so prices are dropping

I ordered batteries from China, got 3X80ah for under $600 shipped when it was all said and done. I went in with a couple of other people to reach a better price tier and spread out the shipping cost.
They are the same size as a group 24 but a TON less weight. I haven't been able to put them to the test yet, but the same battery ordered stateside goes for $600 a piece... the same exact battery from the same manufacture. If you have time to wait and don't need an 11 year warranty from a company that has been around 5 minutes I highly recommend importing them yourself. My batteries have a 3 year warranty but you can buy individual cells and replace them if one goes bad, it isn't rocket science.
I wouldn't order a Dakota lithium battery at any price and I would find another vendor for the impulse batteries if you go that route. Amped outdoors has good, reliable batteries at a better price point than most for batteries delivered stateside.

quote:Oh, new Pro XS 4 stroke. Going from a 17'7" boat to 19'1". That's the only reason I am doing AGM as my crank battery. Merc will not yet give blessing to lithium.

The ownership is quite... well because of the owner.
