Box stand over looking a food plot in a mix stand. Also watching a trail off to my left that a big 10 was scrapping on put it is washed out with all that recent rain. He broke off his G3 so he is a 9 now but he has got to be 6 yrs old. Oldest deer I've ever had on camera.

Bapple and his dad are at my place. I’m in the woods in a lawn chair looking at a shooting lane where some big bucks have been coming through.

Hey baw, you killed any other big deer besides that heavy 10 you killed earlier in the season?

Anyone been using a doe bleat and having luck with it. I dont think they are chasing just yet here so not sure if it would be effective.

Same here bud. The week before Christmas I was seeing some nice looking deer. The last 6 days have the deer in a lull up until today. They don’t have to feed as much when it’s warm because they’re not burning as many calories. That has no bearing on the rut though and from what I could tell this morning the does are hot or will be within the next 2 days where I’m at.

Yea it was a pretty solid 10pt. I’ve poured through pics and vids I’ve had of him since I shot him. I just can’t seem to make heads or tails aging him.
