On a plane headed to Newark. Wish I was in a stand, rain, cold and all!

My next hunt will be New Years weekend. My daughter and her husband are coming over and she will hunt black powder with me.

Good luck!

Ouachita parish.
Ladder stand that I missed a small buck out of yesterday afternoon. Been very hot lately.

Slipped in around 7:30 right as the rain ended. Towel under my arse and rain coat draped over my head.

Smithdale also.
I had several deer feeding between 630-7. It just started raining here. Enjoying coffee and a lazy morning.
My son and I will be in the stands this evening as well.

Cabela’s silent or quiet rain gear prevents you from sounding like one of these
