I think the gods are conspiring against me in this deer season. Bad shots, deer come out and unless I want to shoot them in the a-hole I can't, my son yacking in the stand. Wild year. Lol

I just saw you're in San Saba. I have a good friend we hunt with at his place at the end of Sloan Rd. You close to that area?

The San Saba/ Llano county line runs through the property that we lease. I'm not real familiar with other areas of San Saba. We lease the property for opening weekend every year.

be proud for people you ungrateful frick. If those people are happy with what they killed be happy for them. Its a dam deer! There are plenty, we only live once and deer season is only a few months of the year.

You'd a shot em two years ago

But if you got deer like that an easy way to mess it up is go on a run of killing young ones

He comes down a lot, those aren't their first deer. They both killed bigger deer out there last season, neither of those bucks should have been shot. If you want meat shoot does.

Just shot a spike. I'm trying to be a little more selective this year, but I needed some smoked sausage in the freezer before I can do that.

2 nannies and a snorter about 40 yards out. The shooter buck looks to be a nice 4 point. When he turns broad side I'm going to cut his life short. Time for him to pay for his sins and burn in hell.

Nice buck. Doesn't look like he went far with that shot!

I'm back it this afternoon in a different stand. My son thinks the pipeline is the hot spot so I let him hunt it. Hoping for a big ole doe and then an LSU win!!!
