I gut shot a nice buck at 7:55 this morning on public land with bow. Feel horrible.
At a diner now, not going to look for him until this evening, worried about rain.

FYI, it’s probably a good idea to put some orange tape or something on y’all thermacells, instead of a camo pouch. Can’t find that fricker to save my life.

I sat on the ground
2 hogs downed at 4:52. I got settled in at 4:30 not really expecting much. Shot the sow first, the smaller one ran off but noticed she took a bit of a loop. Sure enough, came back 5 minutes later. Both ear shots. I may smoke the ribs this weekend.
