Lock on over small patch of triple blend with hardwoods on each side
Had a doe at 7:20. Then at 8:15 2 spikes came from hardwoods behind me. Then a decent 8pt came from stream side across from me. Came out looked right at me. I was shittin myself. Couldn't stop trembling. Breath making all kinda steam. He retreated back Into brush. The spikes stayed calm. Then he came out and put nose in grass. 15yds Whack!
He ran. But the hit looked good. Arrow on ground out front. I'm sitting tight. Recovery crew (my buddy Artie and my son Eric and our ace dachshund tracker) is enroute.
God grant I hit as well as i think... Pics shall follow.

Only seen two so far. One was so early I couldn't tell what it was and the second was a yearling I watched two fox squirrels pester the shite out of for an hour.
