3.5 yr old 8pt was feeding at daybreak. Feeder went off and he ran off like he’d been shot

That corn does have a little sting to it when it comes out.

Box blind looking over two planted shooting lanes in creek bottom.

After I killed that 150” in this same spot another buck moved in and started hitting trees hard. Will prob shoot the first doe that walks out and sight see / scout the rest of the year.

Only my second hunt of the year. Running real low on meat. Does are tempting.

30s and over cast.
6-8" spike cruised through. He's been pushing a few does around since yesterday. They won't be shown the mercy I've given him

29 at the camp, probably 25 down below
Wind starting to subside
Decent dusting of snow in the woods
Box blind that I’ve killed both my decent bucks out of over the years. Generally a lot of does cross the road here, hoping for some sign of the rut.

Same here. I drove back after last evening's sit where I damn near froze my dick off. The wind combined with the snow going down by neck sitting in a ladder stand when I have five different box stands and four Lil Buddy heaters sitting in the camp made for a frigid hunt yesterday.

Buddy killed a nice 8pt on the property about 30 mins ago. Buck was nose down chasing and he had to stop him. Rut is on here in SW MS. First time it’s felt like deer season all year. Hope rest of OB was able to take advantage of the cold snap. Happy New Year!
