I mean Red Bull is a big X Games sponsor, even here in the US. Same way Mt Dew has been.

But it's not everywhere like it is in Europe. At least we occasionally mix it up with Monster and various beers. Canada is basically just Euro-west.

More like why was this sport invented in the first place?
It’s fun to watch but holy shite what a dangerous sport. There probably isn’t anything as unforgiving as ice. I don’t care full hockey pads or not, they make hills out of it? I can only imagine the amount of injuries that happen each time.

Speed, physicality, skill, toughness, violent collisions.
This has it ALL!!
I prefer this to other sissy winter sports like:
Luge
Curling
Ice Skating
Speed Skating
I appreciate an element of danger with my sports.
