I think Kerr literally being a little thicker in the chest is what got it for him.
But amazing nonetheless. He was so heartbroken when he got injured and couldn't race in Tokyo. Such a genuinely good guy who deserves big things. And a really good family too.

Best 1500m race of all time and we have 2 American medals. Men’s distance is showing out this year.

They were pushing close to WR pace at 1 lap to go. I don't care what Hocker's kick is like. Him and Nuguse had major PRs and Kerr set a national record/PR as well.

Yelled so loud at my TV while they were on the front stretch that it freaking hurts.

Wow what a race. This won't get the pressed of the 100m race but it really is much more exciting.

Shout out to the two Kenyans finishing dead last

Hocker didn't even run a great tactical race.
He nearly missed the front group at the start and had to accelerate hard to get up to Nuguse
Then boxed himself with 150 to go.
And still ran the olympic record

Women's steeplechase officially separate packs into two color palettes

When’s the 200 women’s final supposed to start?

I noticed that.
And man, steeplechase is just nuts.

These steeplechase women just told the 1500m men to hold their beer. What a freaking awesome day at the track!

Yavi ran such a smart race--glad to see her win.

The French chick leading the back of pack did seem to finish respectably but yea I laughed when I saw it.
