The curling stones used in the Olympics have an electronic problem

Not the stone part of the stone, the handles have embedded electronics and they aren't working as they should. Judges are going to have to determine if the curlers' contacts with the stone end before the hog line which is where they can start ? sweeping.

There were several times in the early rounds competitors had to alert the judge to the failure to light green.

Were they made in China?

I heard they had heat sensors that could be fired up and cause the US Stones to miss the mark.

While I have only watched curling in the Olympics I have never seen a thrower get called for a hog line violation.
