Lives with her grandparents???
Gramps spills his pills all over the kitchen table? Doesn't pick them all up?
She mistakes one for an M & M ?
I don't think I know any 15 year olds taking pills.

I know a bunch of 15 year olds that take meds. But then again I am a SPED teacher, so most of my students are medicated in some fashion.

It’s weird how none of the Russians smoke pot

Yea, I was on her side until I read that terrible excuse.

Rumors are three different heart meds but only one banned. So swapping spit with grampa isn't the problem.

A little over dramatic

I’m 90% sure I saw she messed up early on. I gotta watch a reply to be certain.
If im mistaken, im mistaken.

She didn't fall. Her slip didn't warrant a deduction. She paid for it in the execution score where she only got about half the points for it.
The judges aren't going to judge her any different because of the IOC and ROC's corruption.

Ah ok then.
Still odd that her score is roughly 10 points higher than the 2nd place, with getting half of those points.

They’re so dramatic it’s absurd
It’s not like the substance is anabolic steroids I bet it doesn’t move the needle on her performance at all. They’re acting like she’s juicing in the locker room before she skates.

Ok this ROC actually fell, and still made it to 2nd place

How much “saliva” would she need to have a detectable sample?
How much of grandpa's saliva needs to be found anywhere on her body before DCP is called out anywhere else in the world? The whole fiasco is horseshite. Child got played by the Russian doping regime. Too bad for her, but it is not the fault of athletes who earned it the old fashioned way. Get clean, you're only 15. Many honest Olympic competitions can still remain in your future. I'd defect, but that's just me.

She shouldn’t have been allowed to skate. Big blemish on the Olympics. I’m sorry if her story is true, but those are the breaks. Very bad precedent is being set.

Her story is horseshite. I take vasodilators for emergencies. It's like putting a nitro under your tongue. Last maybe 15 minutes. The drug she took has a half-life of AT MOST 7 hours. Most likely under 30 minutes. She ate a LOT of that shite to test positive. Not just accidentally putting one of grandpa's under her tongue... And what drug does a 15 year old put under her tongue? A tab of acid?
Posted on 2/16/22 at 9:49 am to justsaygeaux2
Of course her story is BS. Russian athletes are controlled by the government and they have to cheat to make themselves look like Russia has superior athletes. The Olympic team is controlled by Putin. They always explain stuff away and never take any accountability. Much like their leader. It's ALWAYS someone else's fault. ALWAYS

Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva included two legal substances, L-carnitine and hypoxen, in a doping control form, The Washington Post reported.
Valieva declared both substances and a multivitamin called supradyn in a doping control form, according to filing by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) posted online on the Dossier Center, a website that former Russian oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky runs, the Post reported.
One person with direct knowledge of the case confirmed the document’s authenticity to the newspaper.

Valieva also claimed that her grandfather used the banned drug trimetazidine, explaining that she may have been exposed to it, according to the document.
Valieva tested positive for the banned substance. The Russian figure skater spent a significant amount of time with her grandfather, Valieva's mother testified, according to the Post.
But WADA appeared to reject the claim that the drug was used by her grandfather at all, saying in the filing that “there is inadequate evidence that her grandfather was even using trimetazidine” and that she was “well short of establishing that her grandfather’s medication was the source of the trimetazidine,” according to the document, the Post noted.
“[I]t is not sufficient for an athlete to simply identify a potential source,” WADA said, the newspaper reported.
A spokesperson for WADA told The Hill it could not comment on the matter, citing the pending case.
The news is the latest development tied to controversy surrounding the Russian figure skater who tested positive for trimetazidine, and has since been allowed to continue competing. LINK
