This is way too simplistic.
Serbia likely plays a ton more together than our team has/does.
International play changes things in sports. Think how many times you see a soccer team like Argentina struggle at random with a lesser opponent. Happens a lot.

We didn’t play well. Serbia came out motivated. France will be extremely motivated being on their soil. I think we throttle them though.

Even in the NBA, bad teams beat good teams on any given night. And Serbia is not a bad team at all. They’re a good team.
Serbia is a good team, and the U.S. is a great team. Good teams can beat great teams in a single elimination tournament.
The U.S. doesn’t get enough credit for constantly beating really good teams, game after game, in these international tournaments.

Yeah that was about as well Serbia is capable of playing for 34 minutes and about as bad as USA could play (minus Curry).
Tell you what, thank God Curry showed up or it would have probably been ugly.

Basketball has grown so much. We aren't going to win every single game by 15+ anymore. That's a good thing. The sport has grown so much over the last 30 years
