Yea if she would just focus on running and not trying to make political statements, maybe she’d reach the pinnacle. Got another four years to try and focus better.

She looked nervous before the semis and at the finale. I think the moment got to her. Still hard to blame someone for only being the second fastest in the world.

She didn't have it today and Alfred was smoking everyone.
Alfred also just came off a world indoor title.
The biggest concern may be the US trials setup. Where you have to peak twice in about 2 months. She clearly did not have the same juice she did at trials,pl plus Alfred was at her peak today.

Well and to be honest, she’s struggled on her several of her starts. She was lucky before today it wasn’t in a final (she stumbled in a heat or the semis at the Trials early).
Alfred looked clean throughout from start to finish.

Yeah. Unfortunately, given the timing of the NCAA championships, I'm not sure you could move it considering a lot of NCAA athletes are competing at the trials too.

I've never understood why so many sprinters wear all of these gold chains.
Swimmers shave every hair off their body to gain any millisecond advantage they can, meanwhile track sprinters are like "gimmie those 30 oz gold chains, I want people to see my bling when I run by."
