Different Romanian though. That one is now in fourth, she should have really gotten the bronze over both of them.

IOC wants a reallocation ceremony. Hope the US appeal of the appeal of the appeal ties this shite up and they’re left with egg on their faces when it’s discovered that:

A. The IOC has no proof the inquiry was submitted late
B. They find it was under the time limit and look even dumber for doubling down on retardation in projected their stupid arse judges.

They didn’t though.

The Romanian chick being awarded 3rd, technically should have finished 5th if the other Romanian chick really didn’t step out at all.

So they can’t even fix their shite correctly. That’s the laughably absurd thing out of all of this.

The least deserving gymnast gets bronze.

I don't think racism had anything to do with this decision.

Agreed. I think they’re moreso talking about the messages Jordan has received since getting the Bronze medal.

Well yeah. Chiles looks like a USDA grade A bitch.

Ooohhhh my mental health. You won a gold medal in the team all around. Spare me. These girl are so soft. No wonder Simone quit in Tokyo.

Need I direct you to Nadia the first to use mental health as the excuse for the Romanians complaint to get a bronze for the one gymnast who deserved it least.

Also. No one cares about your fat arse opinion of sport when you’ve never competed behind HS. That’s probably being generous.

Just heard on a newscast that USAG has time stamped video evidence that the inquiry was submitted at 47 seconds.

fricking brilliantly hilarious if true and a ball crushing groin kick to the incompetence of FIG and CAS.

If the USAG is correct with the video evidence - there will have to be some shakeups at FIG, I would think.

This was the third time Chiles did this same routine?

This could've been avoided if her team coach had this corrected after the first routine.

I’d take a picture of the medal, put it in an envelope with a sticky note and mail it to the IOC and the Romanians.

The sticky note would read “Molon Labe”

She's been getting racist messages on social media. She's not lying about that.

The judges blew a judgement call. If you tight that wrong, then that girl gets third. But, what other judgement calls did the judges blow, that might have impacted other scores?

I think that’s why that appeal was denied. Do t want to get into the business of overruling judgement calls, especially if replay is not allowed at the event.

Just trash judging and oversight all around.

They just need to award them both a bronze and call it a day. Neither one of three girls us at fault, it's the governing bodies who are screwing this up.

Award two bronzes and everybody walks away happy.

Bronze medal is cheap too, it's not like they won gold, this is really the best answer for this screw up.

I read something where both countries requested to share the medal but the IOC said no.

IOC I don't think has made a decision yet. CAS said the USA appeal was improper and to go back to her original score, FIG said follow the CAS ruling. IOC who awards the medals could do something different if they want to, but I don't think they have made their final decision yet.

IOC has asked that the bronze be returned.
