A dire report circulating in the Kremlin today that was prepared for Prime Minister Putin by Anatoly Sagalevich of Russia's Shirshov Institute of Oceanology warns that the Gulf of Mexico sea floor has been fractured “beyond all repair” and our World should begin preparing for an ecological disaster “beyond comprehension” unless “extraordinary measures” are undertaken to stop the massive flow of oil into our Planet’s eleventh largest body of water.

Those Russians sure are funny.
I would probably take the Russians advice only if I was asking for opinions on which vodka to drink. Maybe.
But probably not.
ETA: weren't the Russians also the first to report that the well was blown up by suicidial north Korean submarine skippers?

We ask them to help because they have much much more experience with this than we do and have subs than go down almost 20,000 ft.

Considering this is close to the site of the original impact crater from Chicxulub (65 million years ago), this fracturing actually makes since. I commented on this a few days ago and the whole thread has disappeared....now that's even more weird.

I know Dir James Cameron was all up in arms confused as to why this is so hard to stop given the info the media shares.
Then, once he went and met with BP and these scientist, and now he says the oil is the smallest of our worries at this point and the everyone needs to get off BP's back because the Guld being full of oil is nothing compared to what could happen. He didnt say what because he was instructed not to but here is a liberal Dem defending BP and not worried about the oil in water or on beach at all, AFTER he realized what the potential problems could be.
He said it could be MUCH worse and change America forever...
Very odd..

I don't recall hearing anything about Cameron, but I haven't really kept up with that side of the news story. Link?

If it is on the internet or is sent via email, it has to be true! At least that seems to be what my 67 year old mom thinks.

He was on Larry King. He said if it leaked for 10 yrs, its still no where close to the worst case for America. Never would say what the "worst case" would be.
