Just saw this posted on a fishing forum and a bunch of fishermen are verifying the locations of the oil. LINK

What idiot with the Coast Guard says this oil is gone and difficult to find?

Nice LINK.

I find it atrociously ridiculous that they couldn't find a way to keep most if not all of that oil out of Lake Pontchartrain.

That man needs to learn the difference between the rip tide, shadow from the clouds and oil.

Come on you bunch of denialist. Everyone knows that anytime there is a color change that mean oil and (lol) dispersants are in the water. What a joke.

holy frick if i wasnt drunk right now i would literally tear everyone of these pictures to death ahhh frick it here goes.....

this my friends is what we call SARGASM its fricking seaweed there is no oil at all involved notice the lack of fricking sheen

this is a convergence line it happens when deep water meets shallower water or a change in temperature, before the oil spill fisherman used to jizz in their pants when they would see these because this is where fish like to feed

floating dispersents according to this guy - any normal person would call this a change in depth

apparently we see oil plumes here... pretty sure this moron is looking at the fricking cloud shadows

That first pic doesn't look like sargasmo weed but I have only seen it from a boat. Maybe no sheen because it is so old and weathered by now.

Yeah lots of misinformation there. No doubt there is some oil but most has been dispersed to God knows where and is not a visible sheen.

Do people really assume that just because 3M bbls leaked into the GOM that every single drop of oil is going to hit our coast?? I don't think some people realize how far offshore that well actually is. By the time the oil that actually does hit the coast all the toxins have been degraded to a point that the oil is more of a mess than a health hazard. Also, did they ever fathom that maybe, just maybe, that some of the oil might have gone South?? Why assume that it is all heading North??

i am 100% certain that is not oil product. We have had boats in that shite, helicopters prop washing it, and samples taken. there is more globs of weed like that out in the gulf then oil
