Looks like they just expanded the federal closure area. Also looks like they added the Terrebonne Bay closure line tag to clear up some confusion on the latitude.

Just imagine this mess if it would be compiled with another storm in the gulf regardless of landfall

This really sucks! My biggest fear was hearing that oil would start showing up in what I think is the best fishing grounds in the state!!!

Sucks BIG TIME!!

Rush told me on the radio the other day this is nothing much more than natural seepage and nothing to worry about.

I'm wondering where Houma's water supply comes from? Any chance of it getting into the water supply without a hurricane? Someone told me Bayou Black but I don't know and I'm guessing it would be a real bitch to deal with if it did.

ETA I'm not looking forward to showering in crude smelling water if it comes to that :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I may be wrong, but I think Houma's water supply comes West from the Atchafalaya.

Houma's water supply comes from the Intercoastal Canal.

A lot of Houma's water supply comes from Bayou Lafourche.

Tommy had those posted on RnR and said they were taken behind the island in Terrebone Bay.

We had a big multiboat trip planned for mid-June out of Coco Marina. What are the chances Johnny will give us our deposit back when the entire area is still closed?

Yeah, it was a rhetorical question. Can't think of anyplace on the entire coast less likely to offer our money back than him.
