I have stated numerous times that the person in charge who made the calls not to follow the regs and laws SHOULD GO TO JAIL.
Where have I stated that no one should be held responsible? Please fricking show me.
I have said that the companies should be held financially countable and the person in charge who made the call that cost live/put lives at risk should go to jail. frickING READ.

So the next time some crappy Army COE structure fails, the president will be arrested, right? Same logic, right?

I don't understand why you think the owner, the head honcho, the big cheese, the guy profiting the most, shouldn't be criminally liable if his outfit is not following laws. It's ultimately his responsibility to ensure his company follows the law and regulations.
Man, get a clue!!! If this company man on this rig would have followed the safety procedures instead of rushing thru the cement job, the spill wouldn't have happened. That one guy should be held accountable. I don't like him, but Hayword didn't make that call. The call was made by the company man who could have left teh rig also if he were being forced to do something illegal! DO YOU GET IT?
And just to give you a damn clue, the entity that profits the most from BP are it's combined shareholders. The combined stock dividends given at any single time dwarf the CEO's salary SO should we arrest everyone with stock? Ultimately shareholders proxy's are what are used to hire the board which appoints the CEO.
A doctor making a wrong cut is done at a hospital. Should the CEO be held criminally responsible?

The federal government makes about as much from a barrel of oil as any oil company does when you compare profits to taxes! Arrest Obama hahah

Quite simply yes. The CEO is in charge of the operation, they should hire the right management team to make sure they are following the appropriate rules and regulations.
If a guy on a rig disobey's orders, then the CEO shouldn't be liable. But otherwise, yeah, they should be liable.
If I were an individual and dumped a barrel of oil in the gulf on accident, I go to jail. Who is going to jail b.c of this epic disaster?

Bronson you just proved Greenhead's point:
"Doc wasn't properly doing his job"
So you think that the hospital adminstrator should go to jail or the doctor who negligently killed the patient? What you are saying is that only the administrator should to to jail because if he/she was a good administrator then the doctor wouldn't have killed the patient. Get a grip. Obviously you don't work in the oilfield or have little to no oilfield experience. There's no way a company CEO of a corporation the size of Bp would know what it's drilling foreman are doing. If you want criminal liability then the drilling foreman and all parties ON THE RIG who went against COMPANY POLICY and circumvented authority to save time should go to jail, not the freaking CEO... Jesus....I don't know how much better Greenhead can lay it out for you...He isn't saying no one should be held accountable, he's saying the responsible party should....

The CEO is in charge of the operation
I think this is where you guys are stumbling... I don't know of one oilfield CEO that is in charge of day to day operations...Most are bean counters that have moved up through the ranks, not ex drilling foreman, superintendents, or engineers... They couldn't even tell you how a BOP works, much less how to improve it. They can; however, tell you how much it cost. Quite simply put, in almost every oilfield operation the order of command would be the drilling foreman, engineer, superintendent, and maybe their boss, but to bring something up to the CEO level is ridiculous... (for criminal liability only)...financial liability is a given...

I think that if this is the route we're going to take then everytime someone in the army dies from friendly fire or if some federal employee does something really fricking stupid that harms or kills someone, then Obama should be held criminally liable, bc thats exactly what he is asking of the CEO's of oil companies.
