God damn it I love Corvette’s, but especially the Stingray body styles. Like a diamond in an ice storm

You could take off from stopped without the gas pedal…ample torque at idle.

With proper technique you can do this is pretty much any car Did it my dad's hardbody Nissan XE back in the day when I was learning how to drive a manual with a whopping 134 hp.

What model? I once changed a compressor on an E46, and about halfway through I wished I'd have sold the damn thing. Damn near had to take the whole car apart from the inside. I don't think I ever got it put back together correctly

ETA: May have been the evaporator now that I think of it. Can't remember, tbh.

E60. I worked on the car a bunch, but that was too much and a mechanic friend wanted it. Needed new coil overs and the rears are a bitch, new headliner (I had all the padded and unpadded coverings and adhesive), head cover gasket (had been replaced twice already), but most of all needed new clear coat (at least) on the bumpers…that kinda looked like shite. Went to a good home. He’ll do a respray of the plastic and reupholster it from top to bottom. With paint correction it’ll be slick for his young family.

I can do it in my 4 cylinder Colorado, but the BMW didn’t shimmy at all. Taught my son to drive a manual that way. His GR86 will last a lot longer since we got that out of the way. When I drove my Celica off the lot back in high school I had zero experience with one.

I had a Porsche 944S2 and the number of specialty tools needed to work on that thing was mind-boggling.

Pro tip. Always tape over the timing hole before you remove the screw above it or you be doing work you don't want to do underneath to get to the clutch and retrieve that screw.

The best car video you'll watch all week. Guaranteed. The production quality of the video is amazing.

While the production quality was great, I LEARNED a heck of alot more about the car in Cleetus' video a couple of months ago.. .

You ever driven a C8 around a track? They're capable vehicles, and the price to performance ratio is an amazingly good deal. We'll see how well they hold up as they age compared to cars twice the Corvette price, but I'd wager the Corvettes will be driven twice or more as many miles as those other cars too.
