Here’s another classic. The framing crew just said “frick it” around 11. Looks sturdy enough to me.

Looks as sturdy as that plastic storage cabinet!

It now appears likely that Zeta will maintain category 2 intensity on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale until its initial landfall in southeast Louisiana later this afternoon.

With Zeta continuing to strengthen, this could be a situation where the NHC later on, upgrades the official intensity at landfall.

Yeah, they're showing from time to time. Just another sign that Zeta is a well organized storm that is still strengthening.

This looks like at least 80 miles from Cocodrie/Fourchon. I think landfall will be around 5:30 to 6:00

Martin Folse said his stick shows landfall will be east of Terrebonne Parish and closer to Grand Isle.

Nah. NHC has been leaning toward the side of a stronger storm for 2 days, at least. To the point that many here called them "Bullish".

Does this mean we can get rid of the trash from LC staying in the hotels in Nola? Maybe there are some open rooms in BR?

Lucky it shifted east so now NOLA and Northshore will avoid west side of Zeta. Hancock County going to get hit hard
