No shite, I would love for my decorations to blow away so I don't have to pick them up.

Those flood gates there like the Bubba Dove sure have helped Dulac. We have a camp there too.

Just talked to JPDS and he indicated that they were informed it was a fast moving storm with some wind and it was not much to worry about. On a scale of 1-5 with 1 being every day life and 5 being Hurricane Katrina I would say he was maybe approaching 2.

They’ve helped me on the North side in Southern Comfort, but it seems it has caused more flooding for those on the south side, Four Point in particular.

NHC forecast has been stellar on this storm.
Advisory #1 - Empire
Advisory #15 - Port Fourchon - 26 miles West

The farthest west the tracks got was Terrebonne Bay and the farthest East was mouth of the river. Total spread of all tracks issued has only been 75 miles.

The ones that came out by the roots, we had hauled off and filed the hole with river sand and planted grass over. The ones that we left roots in the ground created big dips in my yard many years later As the roots rotted away beneath the ground.
I had to bring in dump trucks full of river sand to fill in this past spring.

I just realized that this bitch is scooting across the gulf. I couldn't outrun it in my bay boat if there was a stiff breeze

it's so easy when there's strong steering flows already baked into the forecast
