Seriously can’t we just get rid of people like that? They have zero quality of life and provide zero benefit to anyone. Maybe I’m being harsh but I see zero problem with eliminating people who decide to live this lifestyle. Kinda like what animal shelters do to strays that can’t be adopted. What’s the difference?
What the frick man

I went to LA about 5 years ago. Wanted to walk to the "diamond and fashion district". When I got there I felt like I was in Cozumel.

Have you seen the people running our country for the past 4 years? Not hard at all to believe

Sorry guys but I have a different perspective of these people which I agree is not right.
I have a half brother (same dad) that was a junkie, never kept a job, in and out of jail for petty crimes, rehab but could never shake that life. Family spent decent amount of $ trying to help him but you can’t help someone that doesn’t want to be helped.
He finally convinced (whoever) to collect social security and get free everything. Well the only thing is NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FREE!! Here I am along with every other able bodied citizen paying for this mother focker to live the life of luxury (for him anyway).
I have zero sympathy for scum. I get it, some didn’t choose this life but some did and we paying for it.
To the pro life question, yes I’m 10000% pro life, every INNOCENT child should be give a chance.

True, but it's daytime. You would not want to be there at night.

Dude, Slid Row is considerably beyond a generic American ghetto. It’s basically like a third world slum. There’s really not a neighborhood in any other American city that’s equivalent. The Bowery in NYC is the only other neighborhood that somewhat recently was similar to Skid Row, and the Bowery has been gentrified for at least 20 years now.

They are human. We should have concentration camps, away from city centers, that stage these people into a halfway house group, a full time group that is training for the first group, and an irredeemable group. Try to get them employable and back in society, but if they can't then give them an inexpensive, but humane, life.

NOLA pre Taylor and post Superbowl.
North Baton Rouge... now.
I don't see much difference.

Skid Row in LA has been around for more than 100 years. I don’t like Biden, but you can hardly blame him or even Newsom for the neighborhood. George Takei has repeatedly talked about his life on Skid Row in the late 1940s after his family got freed from the Japanese concentration camps. And Skid Row wasn’t even that new in those days.
It really was a pretty unremarkable type of slum that was found in most American cities at the time. But in the years since, pretty much every other slum in America has been upgraded and we now call them ghettoes rather than slums and they’re really centers of relative poverty rather than absolute poverty. Skid Row is pretty much the only American neighborhood that truly still fits the slum categorization.

There are millions to be made 'helping' the homeless and drug addicts. More than enough to keep the gravy train flowing.
