Rog! you mean all our guys aren't altar boys, with exemplary character, and pillars of morals, ethics, and principle?

No he was just "let go" (49'ers publicly say they would have cut him had he not opted out), and is out millions of dollars because nobody else in the business will hire him.

And? If we're comparing apples to apples, was San Francisco forced to forfeit games because of him?

Totally different and incomparable situation.

little league has a social media policy??
I would imagine they do... as most companies do now to cover their arse for their employees posting dumb stuff... or I should say, to cover their arse when someone who is weak reads it and gets offended.

I think disqualifying the whole team is silly. Reprimand the girls involved, and if they can't play because they don't have enough players then that's that. But disqualifying the whole team seems silly. I'd be pissed... as a player, parent and coach.

And while flipping the bird is innocent, they were probably told the "no BS on social media" rules. Not to mention if I flipped off my competitor growing up, my coach probably would've been on my arse. But it wasn't unheard of

Amazing that professional athletes can beat on their wife and espn hardly reacts. White girls flip the bird and they are triggered. What a time to be alive.

Yep. Common sense was overruled by drama queens.

I had a friend who was recruited by several SEC teams and signed with one out of HS. The stories he would tell....

So you're just too dense to quote the rest of my post? No sense in arguing with a person like that.

You added nothing of value. There's nothing else to respond.

Seems like the Kirkland team that lost weren't innocent little angels in this thing.

I'm all for teaching lessons, but what lesson did the Kirkland girls learn from being punks to the Atlee team, having a coach and player ejected, losing the game, but still getting to advance?

I disagree.

Suspend the players in the photo as well as the girl who took the picture (if it's a player).

Give the girls who earned the right to play in the title game, play in the game. Even if not at full strength, they still get the honor of earning second place.

Make the bird flipping lesbians watch their team lose.

Best case outcome would be the suspended teams remaining players win a championship WITHOUT their classless teammates.

I think at minimum you suspend the girls in the picture and at most you disqualify the team. Let the losers play in the final for TV but have the team from the other half of the bracket win the tournament regardless of the outcome of the final game.

Seems pretty excessive. If they wanted to come down tough, they could've just suspended the ones in the picture for the title game

The team had 12 girls. There were 6 girls in the picture

So guys, if you suspend those 6 girls, how exactly is a team going to play with 6 players......

Most all star teams have alternates.

Not to mention, a 7th girl had to take the picture....

So now you have only 5 innocent players......

Does the league allow a team to play with only 5? Genuinely asking

Of course not. But you still shouldn't punish the girls that weren't involved. You get the same result... the team can't play. However I think those 6/7 should've been suspended, not the whole team.

They would've advanced, not the host (I assume), then would've forfeited the next game due to not having enough players. Maybe I'm wrong about this, I haven't looked at the bracket or anything

ESPN had nothing to do with it. I only posted that ESPN was covering the game to note that this wasn't some World Series in laurel, mississippi with three teams from Mississippi and one from Alabama.

You know who should be pissed? The parents of the five kids on that team that weren't involved.
