It's crazy because I'm sitting here at a desk for 9 hours a day and this guy is making his living from playing with marbles and setting up bleachers to put his marble fans in. WTF am I doing wrong

Your parents probably didn’t vaccinate you so you didn’t catch the autism.

Finally, one of the channels I can never get enough of is the Townsends channel. Old school 1700s style living. I can watch those videos over and over again at least once a year.

That's a good one. That cabin they just built was impressive.

If you’re thinking about getting into backpacking/hiking/camping, one of my favorite channels is Shug Emery

Dude is hilarious. He really knows his stuff, but focuses mainly on hammock camping.

I love his old videos

His channel was called "James Townsands and Sons" before he shortened it down

He would dress up like 17th century folk and would also use similar utensils to what they used in the 17th century.

The only thing I don't like about that show is that

1. They do significant archeology on a rushed timetable

2. They make some ridiculously large assumptions so they can prove their case

The definitely make some questionable connections to help prove their point. I think that’s a result of your first observation. Even still, it’s the best I’ve found as far as a long running series goes. They’re all on Amazon Prime now also.
