A month out since the episode thought I'd offer an update. The speech is improved a great deal it sounds as if I had a tooth pulled does get tired toward the end of the day but eating and talking or good exercise for it.I can comfortably walk a fair distance using a hemi walker but walking 100 ft can they be exhausting but every hundred feet make 150 easier and then 200 easier.The arm is the last to respond I have gain some movement in the arm but not yet in the fingers although those would be the last to come on and then no longer feel numb.
Allow me to take the chance to thank so many of you I'm not really been able to take a look at the GoFundMe it's a bit too emotional for me.
but to all those that donated even the smallest amount thank you and for those that donated larger amounts I'm simply blown away. Special thanks to those that have been able to send me cards and care packages Nurse, chick , bayou Bengal,redstick and a big thank you to Rouge special mention must also be made of Rummy
There are too many that reached out by text or Facebook to mention but I appreciate y'all as much It's great therapy for me to be able to think about or talk about something other than the stroke.
If I have failed to mention anyone and it's not that it's not appreciated it's that I had a stroke and my memory is fuzzy or maybe it isn't maybe you just didn't do anything worth mentioning
try harder.
