Once we return from our Auburn trip, you are more than welcome to stay in our home. When I told her of your state, Mother said she would open up Great Aunt's room. It's funny she calls it Great Aunt's room, as no one has ever slept in that room. It is only called that because it has Great Aunt's old bed, the bed in which she died peacefully at the age of 97. It would do me a great honor if you would spend your convalescence in that room.

Owlster, as I mentioned, I had a stroke back in June. Believe me, you will improve a hell of a lot. Less than a year ago I could muster up two words max when asked a question. I couldn’t remember my password to this account or my PIN for my bank account. My memory is still not worth crap, but I did return to my engineering job. Do what your therapists tell you, they are miracle workers. If you signed on and typed that post by yourself you are ahead of where I was. The human brain is absolutely amazing.

When my wife reviewed our CC transactions yesterday, she asked what the donation was for and who “Phil” was.
I replied, “I have no idea. He kicks some kid in a wheelchair around the internet pretty regularly though and I enjoy that....also he’s sick.”
That sparked a 15 minute argument of why I never give money to people we actually know in need.
All I could say is, “I guess because I really don’t like them.”
Prayers for your recovery Phil. I’ll be giving money to every a-hole with a can drive from here to eternity in your memory. No regrets.
