Jost is up there for me too. My favorite is probably St. Lucia though. 3 friends and I, 21 years old, made friends with a Rasta and he showed us around the island for a week.

Only what I wanted to, no phones, no internet. Enjoyed the sun and water the entire time.

In Sedona we stayed at The Ridge at Sedona Golf Resort. Very nice for around 150 per night.

I would love more details on this trip as well. Was thinking last night how awesome a trip out west would be.

And my favorite trip thus far would probably be to Napa & Sonoma Valley. Asheville was fun too.

Rented a three bedroom yacht out of St. Thomas for 10 days and sailed around BVI and American Virgin Islands. There were 8 of us. Best 10 days of my life. Caught lobsters , scuba, road jeeps all over islands, etc.

Last Christmas took the wifey and kiddos to New Mexico skiing for a week. My wife hates the holidays (her family is crazy) and wanted to get out of town. A week skiing at Angel Fire and hands down the best trip so far for me as well as the kids. We didn't get out of town this year and went to inlaws for Christmas and the kids and wife said never again. So we are trying to figure out if we want to go skiing or to the beach this year

Motorcycle trip by myself out west to see a lot of the national parks. I thought it would suck when my two riding buddies backed out at the last minute because of money issues, but it ended up being awesome. Met so many random people I wouldn't have met if I went with friends and had such a good time camping and hiking. My wife permitted me to use as much vacation that year as I wanted for it, last big hurrah before we started trying to have our first kid. She flew out with her family to Vegas and hung out with me there though. The trip left me with time to think and really helped me out mentally and convinced me to make a career change. I recommend a good solo road trip to anyone as a nice mental refresh.

This is the track I took: (TL:DR Went west to the pacific from knoxville on a southern track and came back a northern one...)

Left from Knoxville took interstate to OKC, met up with a friend there and we stayed on interstate til Amarillo. Got off interstate from there and went highways up to Colorado Springs and did Garden of Gods and Pikes Peak. Friend took off back to OKC from there. I did a zig zag across Colorado to Ouray and did the million dollar highway and few dirt roads in the area. Hiked and stayed at Mesa Verde NP for a night. Went to shitty four corners from there and then a zig zagged around to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Hiked and stayed in a cabin there and highly recommend it to anyone. From there I shot up into Utah and did Bryce/Zion before going into Vegas. Vegas absolutely is depressing after living it up in the national parks. After Vegas I went into no mans land and crossed Death Valley. I had to change my original track of going across Tioga Pass into Yosemite because of snow (this was in June, snow was very very high on glacier point road) and ended up going around the mountains and hitting up Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP before Yosemite. Stayed in Yosemite a bit. Crossed over to San Fran, did a rock tour and saw the full house house. Took the PCH to redwoods into Oregon. Went to Crater Lake, road up to it had just opened and it was crazy the amount of snow up there. 15-20 feet in some spots. Had to climb a snow bank to see the lake. Went through the Oregon high desert and into Idaho and craters of the moon. Hit up Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Beartooth was closed due to snow, so I went out through Cody. Went to Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands, then just made a bee line back to Knoxville.

Lake Tahoe in the Summer. Been a bunch of times but golf in the morning, lakeside in the afternoon, and casino at night. Always a great time.

I flew to London to see the Rolling Stones perform at Hyde Park in 2013. Spent four days drinking and carrying on and the Stones were amazing.

Flew first class both ways transatlantic... Totally worth it.
