Excited about a travel ball park, a couple grocery stores and a high school that is only “good” because it is 90%+ white
You call that living?

Arca is right across from the sports complex in between complex and sugar mill pond. School has grown with its students. Started as K-5 but will be a high school I think in 2024.

Can confirm. Can also confirm the tuition numbers. That is for an 8th grader. My 5th grader is a little less.

Instead, Reaux immediately called the CP, corroborated a story, did not cooperate with the officers, took her 30 minutes to find her proof of insurance card, and continued to tell lie after lie until it blew up in her face.
I wonder how many times either she or her friends and family have gotten away with something similar in the past? The only reason this incident came to light is because she’s now an elected public official.
I also find it interesting that several news reports mention the current chief assumed his job after her father retired as Chief. Implying that Boudreaux was a loyal deputy that inherited the position.
Boudreaux defeated Reaux’s father in an election. He was also a sheriff’s deputy before he was elected Chief. He ran against her father twice, and defeated him the second time. Boudreaux and Menard were not allies.
Yet, Reaux knew who to call as soon as she screwed up. That’s small town politics at it’s peak. Certain families are within a circle of protection. It doesn’t matter if they are opponents in the eyes of the public. They protect each other behind the scenes.

Closer to $20K after tax, title, and license. ESA is pushing $25K. Regarding vehicles, I witnessed the same thing when I was a student at St. Martins back in the 80's. I drove a 67 VW bug with no AC. Several times I'd have to push start it
Fellow students drove 911 Cabriolets, BMW 633, and MB 450 SL's.
