Youngest Grandparent/Great Grandparent you've met

Once I took an Uber ride with a guy who was 56 and had 5 great grandchildren. That's about 3 generations of teen pregnancies to have a great grandchild at that age. He didn't seem particularly proud of it.
Someone I know of through another person is 35 and about to be a grandmother.
Seen any more impressive than that?

Look up the list of EBT participants and you'll find quite a few young ones.

I knew of a 25 year old grandparent once.
Had her kid at 12.
Daughter got pregnant at 13.
I was in the same school as the daughter is how I knew of her.

Damn.
When I was born, my mom was 18. Her mom 45. Her grandmother 70. Her great-grand (my great great grand) was 87.
So was able to get a good five generation photo in there as a baby in ‘84. Nice heirloom to hand down to the kids one day.

Wow. And here I was thinking it a bit odd that my uncle became a grandfather before 50.

As far as grandparents go, the younger they are, the trashier the family is.

Our ex-receptionist was a 40 year old grandmother. The grandson was about 8 years old. You do the math however you want but it all = extreme trash. Her and her 28 year old boyfriend ended up stealing about $20K worth of copper cable and a trailer from our office after she was relieved of her duties.

My neighbor in New Orleans was a great uncle. He was 12.
