The whole blood test thing got my libertarian blood boiling. Having to jump through hoops to get the government’s permission to travel in a vehicle you own is unconscionable.

Your ability to buy insurance should be the requirement.
If someone is willing to take the risk and write your policy, that's enough.
If you aren't insurable, you shouldn't be driving.

So I'm order to drive you need roughly 20k in liquid money to cover potential accidents?
Or just let everyone drive without any means to cover potential accidents meaning we get even more lawsuits?
