“If you had a fever that came and went so fast you didn’t give it a second thought”

I read this this morning on ways to tell if you may have already had covid.

Anyone else have this? About 3 wks ago I felt a little feverish at bedtime (11p) like a fever was just coming on. I woke up a few times in the middle of the night and definitely had fever but didn’t feel bad, just pretty severe chills, no body aches or cold symptoms. When I woke up for good at 5:30AM the fever was gone and I felt fine and have been fine ever since.

I’m almost 59 and was a smoker until 3 yrs ago so I didn’t associate this episode with COVID but I did think it strange at the time.

I had that happen about a month ago... but I also had a few other symptoms (mostly bowel related) and went to get tested, turned up negative.

Yes. They said exactly that at the end of the article that’s why I used the word “may”.

Thanks. I’m not asking for advice, I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else. Maybe I didn’t make that clear

Atleast 1-2 times a year for a while now I seem to have a day of what you described. Like ill have mild to semi-severe body aches and mild fever anticipating that im getting sick with something bad, but ill go to bed and wake up feeling okay the next day. It’s always the weirdest thing.

I had this last happen in late march. I hope I had it, but it was a familiar thing as I described up above.

I'm sure it has happened to lots of people in recent months. Brief fevers aren't that unusual though, and I get them every now and then. I haven't had one recently that I recall. I wouldn't automatically assume recent ones are Covid related, but it's certainly possible.

I felt like I had it in early March and currently feel like crap. It’s not fever and respiratory symptoms though. Am I supposed to quarantine every time I feel meh? It’s all so ridiculous.

Wife and I had a few days where we couldn't taste anything but we could still smell.

Also we've had days with cold-like symptoms about ten times since November of last year.

And we had about six months where we were completely symptom free.

According to experts we could have had COVID 19 under any of the above circumstances.

This virus is very strange the way it affects different people in different ways and so many other moving parts. It’s cute when laymen pretend to have it all figured out

Same here. I had muscle aches, slight fever, fatigue, and a slight cough. Nothing bad but decided to get tested to protect others and be in the safe side.

Antibody testing won’t show whether you had covid or not. Antibody positive results are only showing up in roughly 23% of all covid positive patients. The testing is either faulty or the antibodies are sticking around in people’s bodies.
