Yes, as I said, there a place for sauces, steakhouses are not one of those places.

But according a genius that posts here, it's stupid and tacky to alter a dish from how the chef serves it.

40 on a pork chop?
Yeps. That's normal at places like Flemings and on up the fancier ladder of steakhouses.

So you think a demiglace or au poivre doesn't belong in a steakhouse?

frick that. I buy the steak, I eat that fricker how I want.
Most decent restaurants make their dressings in-house. I will NOT eat a Ruth's Chris steak without dipping it in their homemade ranch dressing.

I think you either can't read or are just trying to make a disenginous arguement

Misty's In Lincoln begs to differ.

It's quite obvious what I meant unless you've never eaten anywhere better than a western sizzler

Perry's Signature Porkchop $39.95
Being it’s a 2lb piece of meat I can see why it’s $40... like I said most I’ve ever seen are 16oz..... next time I’m in Houston I’ll have to stop there and try it

I think the fact I brought up those sauces should answer this for you.
So really it comes down to the fact certain sauces are ok in a steakhouse as long as you approve of them.

Or as long as they are apart of the menu and not heinz ketchup or Tobasco on a steak. Again, it's obvious what I meant.

Or that you know how to use an internet search engine

Because googling "steak sauce" comes back with au poivre.

I think you know, but as LNCHBOX taught me earlier this morning unless you can eliminate with 100% certainty all other alternatives, it's not true.
But I really think you are just trying to argue because I know you know what I mean with people ruining food with sauces like hot sauce or ketchup. If you have to ask for it and they may or may not have it that's a sign you probably shouldn't be using it either way

You're so full of shite
We live in the same neck. Where you boys eating lunch? Name it

Your picture of that pork chop has me craving some Pork Chop Friday at Perry's.
I'm making lunch plans now to go. I'm laughing at these fools that have never experienced a wonderful steak house pork chop.
