Perry's in this example. Also moxies, del friscos grill, and that seafood place in trinity groves (amber Jack's maybe can't recall the name right now) are some of the decent spots we frequent

But I really think you are just trying to argue because I know you know what I mean with people ruining food with sauces like hot sauce or ketchup. If you have to ask for it and they may or may not have it that's a sign you probably shouldn't be using it either way

Or because I think people trying to tell people what is or is not acceptable to put on their food is rather pretentious?

Truly sad, I may favor that over a steak to be honest.

Bitch, Perry's doesn't even offer a dinner cut pork chop for lunch.

ETA: even just looked it up. They have a lunch cut which on Fridays is 14.95

I would probably hold off slinging insults since you make "my life sucks and I'm so sad" threads about 3 times a week about how you drink alone in hotel rooms every night and your wife's family hates you

Ok? The dinner porkchop is $40, only time I've had it other than on a Friday. I've seen this baw put hot sauce on that porkchop at a dinner before. Personally, I don't care that he ruined his food, but I felt embarrassed for him asking for it at a table full of people

Best deal in town, but it's about half of the dinner portion

And those people should mind their own business as well.

If ole baw is not impacting your dining experience, let him load his steak up with ketchup. It has no impact on you or your food and/or service.

Are you trying to get me? I've been there more than a half dozen times. I know how much it costs

Eta: and I'm not sure you can't order the dinner portion as they give you a regular menu during lunch and it's on there

Whatev. You may have gone to Hillstone or Houston's a time or two and think embellishing makes you cool. It's not. Sad...

Exactly. I've never given a rats arse about what people put on their food. I'm not eating it so who cares?

I'm not embellishing, I used a real world example of a guy that does this at a nice restaurant, not on a sirloin at waffle house. Sorry that upsets you. You want me to take you for a porkchop lunch to help you feel better?

Thought someone said the Houston one. Regardless, you used the dinner price just so the thread would go exactly this way.

ETA: Again, the hours keep coming up for the bama location. you win this part

No due respect, but I think I'll pass on your offer and company. I'm not all that keen on posers.

Are you trying to say Perry's Steakhouse is only open for lunch on Friday? In Austin the hours are 11am to 10pm. From 11 to 4 they have Pork Chop Friday special for 14.95. Any other time they have the Pork Chop pictured for 39.95.

You are the dumb one here it seems.

I don't care what people put on food but it does seem a shame to order a fabulous dish that a restaurant is known for and cover up the taste with Tabasco.

Regardless you are fricking idiot that was objectively wrong as their website states. And, yes, I used the dinner price because this has happened at a dinner and it was a good example of what I was talking about.
