If I weren't out of alignment I'd be less adjusted.

I sure as shite hope so. Otherwise I'd guess those malpractice rates are going to double.

IWAI

There is no way in hell I'm letting "Dr. Steve" adjust my fricking cervical spine in any type of way, especially how he does that in the first 10 seconds of that video.

I mentioned "chiropractor" in a physical therapy clinic and almost got laughed out of the building.

Not very highly thought of by PTs.

A chiropractor does what, 1 year of postgraduate? Serious question. I don't know the answer to this.

PTs think they're all underqualified garbage. After hearing all the PTs in this clinic go on and on, I wouldn't go to one.

Those "doctors" have definitely smashed a lot of those girls they get into their underwear, get behind and thrust into, and claim "adjusting their neck"

Auto correct and not reading as I wrote. I went back and corrected.

FYI, my family and I use a local DC and fully trust him and feel better, symptomatic, each time we get our adjustments. Family plan, his charges are low and as long as the wife and I maintain care, he does not charge for screening our children.

Flame away, as I can only, as a medical professional, relay my personal experiences. And compared to my office, my hospital and my colleagues offices, his office does more toward patient education and the positive energy felt just by walking through the door makes it all worth it.

Chiropractors think that by adjusting the misalignments they can thereby restore the nervesignals and cure health problems. This idea was first propounded in 1895 by D. D. Palmer (1845-1913), a grocer and magnetic healer from Davenport, Iowa. Palmer was a vitalist who considered intelligent energy to be conveying information among various body parts. There is no scientific evidence to support these ideas. Palmer called this vital energy "innate intelligence" and claimed it was connected to a Universal Intelligence. He even likened himself to Jesus, Mohammed, Joseph Smith, and Mary Baker Eddy (Ernst and Singh 2008).
