I think I've said this before, but having seen what almost anyone would call a ghost standing a few feet in front of me in my own house.... no, I don't believe in ghosts. I don't know what I saw. I mean, my eyes saw a see through person standing in a door way, and I wasn't sleeping or intoxicated, but I still don't think it was a ghost. I think the human brain can just do things like that.

Mrs Füt and I don't believe but she said earlier today when walking past old Charity that if there were ghosts, they'd be in there-

A few years ago when I was in high school I had this heavy steel LSU mug I used to hold all my pencils and pens.
One night I was sleeping and I heard a loud bang I looked around but didn't think much of it and just went straight back to sleep.
Wake up in the morning to find my pens and pencils scattered all across the room and my steel mug sitting on the floor 6 feet from the dresser where it sits.
The dresser was on the opposite side of the room from my bed so there was no way I could have forced it to fall.
To this day it is still an unsolved mystery and the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me.

I have seen one.
it has had no effect upon my spiritual practice so don't count on that.
I was with a friend. he saw it too.
I am glad I was not alone. It was creepy, and I got goosebumps.

I think people jump to weird conclusions when people say UFO or ghost. There may be scientific explanations for the things people claim to see.
The scientific idea of a flat world existed at some point, as did the idea that the sun revolved around the earth. What you perceive as reality is just what has been proven in the present by science. 200 years from now, your reality will probably be viewed as primitive.

My grandmother believed my grandfather visited her after he died. She woke up one night and he was standing at the end of the bed looking at her. She was the least likely person to believe in that kind of stuff, and AFAIK I'm the only one she ever told about it.

Not long after my son's death, while walking past a closet I though I saw something move. When I turned to look there was what looked like fog in the shape of a very tall triangle with the widest point at the top. I wish I had my cell phone at the time. I just stared at it for a few minutes then went with what I was doing next. A ghost, I don't think so. My son's spirit, maybe.

If you believe in soccer you most likely believe in ghosts, since both things aren't real.

Your mom's real, dude.
Real good at taking care of my boners.
ETA: I don't ever post anything about soccer, if I referenced Paul Tulane's housecat after one of your posts it would be about as topical as your soccer reference.

shite.... I've never seen one, but yesterday I was in the 3rd bedroom and my wife and MIL were in the 2nd. I saw something shoot across the hall towards my bedroom. Now take it some strange things have happened to my MIL since my FILs sudden death. Things have been moved, she hears and sees shite. I'm stating this b/c it's the only connection I'd have to something like that that I know of. Anyways, I sit for a second and say frick me... I know I saw something. My GSP gets out of the bed with them and runs towards my room and spare bathroom. He is freaked the frick out, tail b/w his legs and doing a growl/whine deal. He walks in to the room with me, I guess for reassurance and I follow him. Dude would not go into the bathroom or my bedroom. Would put his nose in and growl and step back. He did it for several minutes and then just said frick this I'm out.
Weird shite man...
Weird shite man...
