Nothing thanks. I don’t need Bubba with a 1.6 GPA from high school coming over. I will grab my pistol from my truck and check it out myself.

I’m going to stay right where I am outside. If someone got past my dogs, one of which is a lgd blend and hates strangers in his territory, I’d rather not find out if they are still inside. Will let the cops clear house.

What are you going to check for first?

My phone in my pocket to call 911 and I'm not going in there until they clear the place.

[quote]You know the thief is an idiot if he goes for the TVs. Not worth the effort anymore.[/quote

It was a theft ring back in 2010. The only thing they were targeting was TVs. They left behind my Xbox and multiple laptops. It was people from Baton Rouge hitting the (now) St. George area, Ascension, and Livingston.

Check to see where my wife is. That info drives whether I enter or wait. Either way, calling 911 to get help rolling.

I wonder if they were still operating in 2015. I want my Panasonic 42" plasma TV back. Top 3 consumer TV in 2006. Still looked as good as new and better than any non plasma TV at the time.

I have come home to this very scenario. Check guns (including the pistol that is in your nightstand) first and electronics second. Also check tools if you have them.. Burgalars are not too interested in anything else.

Yes I've often wondered when having installers in my home, are they checking out what you have in order to break in later? Scary times indeed

Damn that is awful! You deservedly beat his arse. You must have wanted to kill that SOB!

I can’t convey in words the amount of red arse you feel walking into your own home and seeing that and then seeing the guy who did it…. I tried to kill him, I hit him harder than anything I ever had. I was actually trying to break my hands/arms in his face.

Assuming my family is accounted for I'm not going in so that a) the cops will clear it for me and b) preserve the crime scene

This part would be pretty satisfying, at least.

Yea it was, but after the cops came and everything is over and you walk around and see more of what he did, it goes away and you get mad all over again.

I was too. I think I got out of the habit with all my guns having a loaded chamber indicator. Still probably a good idea to do a press check even though I know I’m piped.

My fantasy football binder. It has over 20 years worth of draft info on my league mates. Most valuable thing I own.
