Spaghetti Eddie's. Was over by Murphy's in mid 80's. Takee Outee was over there as well if memory serves. Good memories for an old guy.

FYI, there is still a Fast Track in Ascension Parish on LA 70 near the Sunshine Bridge. It's hidden inside of a gas station.

Bamboo Garden, that Chinese restaurant near Chuckie Cheeses off Sherwood.

Their buffet included an ice cream freezer box full of Blue Bell ice cream sandwiches and other ice cream bars. Kids and I would race through the meal to get to that box.

Lafayette. Johnston Street. Across from Blackham Coliseum.

Same menu, peanuts, decor. Like stepping back in time.

Giovanni's on Highland near Kenilworth. Great food. Plus you could get laid and score some blow while there.

Great Wall Closed down after the advocate had a big article on them about failing heath inspection. The food was amazing!!! But stopped going after the article came out.

Is this true? Same as the old Fast Track?

The Bengal. Lots of good times in that place.

yeah I gotta go with this. I lived there most nights in the late 80's and early 90's.

It had all the things you want in a bar: a decent size, good bar tenders, good drink specials, pool tables, a dance floor, a decent patio area, and my favorite, a fooseball table. I wish I knew how many hours I spent playing fooseball and drinking scotch and water there.

And of course, when Captain Jack came on the sound system it was time to find a honey and get that last dance.

Do any of y'all remember the big tall bartender Richard McCay? I worked with him at Tuffy's Bikes. He was one of the coolest guys I've ever met. I heard he moved to the Mississippi gulf coast. I wonder how he's doing.
