You are sent back in time to 1241 to participate in the defense of Europe vs the Mongols

Scenario: You are at the Battle of Mohi on 11 April 1241 fighting with a combined force of Hungarians, Croatians, Austrians, and Knights Templar against the Golden Horde led by Beaty Khan.
Your force numbers approximately 50k-80k and you have the advantage of a fortified camp. On the other side are approximately 70k-100k Mongol Calvary, supported by 7 stone throwing siege engines. They have crossed the Sajo river over a single bridge to give battle. Because if this, a quick retreat is impossible (and they know this).
Spoiler: The Mongols routed the defenders by forcing them back to their camp after a brutal pitched battle on the plains with the river at their back and then using their siege weapons to devastating effect. The defenders fled the camp and were routed. Most of Hungary was raped and pillaged by the Mongols before infighting slowed the invasion.
You are given the choice between three weapons (and an unlimited supply of ammo).
Do you pick:
A. Barrett M107A1 50BMG Anti-material/personnel sniper rifle
B. M249 5.56mm LMG
C. M224 60mm lightweight mortar
How do you deploy the weapon in order to reverse the course of history and save the European homeland from invasion?

Dig trenches with cheval de frise, behind which are pikemen, behind which are machine guns from an elevated position.

I’m going with option C. Most casualties and biggest emotional impact.

This, and you HAVE to take out the siege engines and a mortar is perfect for that. And it has a lethal blast radius of around 100 feet so you can blow big holes in the Mongol lines. Find the best defensive position possible and start lobbing shells as fast as you can.

What kind of dumb frick thinks he can turn the tide against an opposing force of 80k with one sniper rifle.

Well you could target the leaders directing the battle and also take out their siege engine operators (could probably take out the siege engines themselves if you targeted the gears/pulleys etc.)

M249 is the correct answer. The trouble would be needing unlimited guns and not just ammo. Overheating would be a big issue with my many charging horseman.

Takes too long to reload. If people freak out and get antsy and rush you, ya fricked.
With the mg, you can mow down the room and the rest will freak the frick out and submit to the all mighty bang bang wizard.

Every Saw I have fired while in the military was good for a hundred rounds or so, then they start jamming.
I went from the Saw to a 240. I much prefer the 240 even though it is much more of a load to carry.

D. I'm burying a shite ton of gold and jewels that I stole with modern day thinking/tactics, and hiding them in a place that is still undisturbed to this day.
