Stuck looking like a douche with a yeti cooler because I got mine when there were no other alternatives. If I was in the market for another cooler, I would either go with a Pelican or Orca. Pretty much the same performance, without having to pay hundreds of dollars more for the name.

Spending hundreds on an ice chest is insane.
That being said, I used some airline miles to get a yeti a while back and it really does keep ice for days, but I'm rarely far from a source of ice for more than a day or two and that sob weights nearly 40lbs empty.

I love my Gander Permachill. It was a fraction of the cots of a YETI...it has been awesome.

I bought a Yeti sticker and they gave me an ice chest.
