Interesting that YETI pulled it's IPO on March 26, 2018 using "Market Conditions" as the excuse.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Austin, while it’s more liberal than the rest of Texas, you and other posters make it out to be San Fran or some town in Oregon. It’s still pretty representative of Texas

No banks or institutional investors give a frick about NRA support. They missed the boat on IPO IMO a couple of years ago, too much competition now.

Also this is a business 101 for why they shouldn't take political stances. Nothing to gain.

NRA is one of the smaller lobbying groups compared to others.

The power of the NRA is in its 5M+ members around the country who are passionate about their issue and regulalry vote thei beliefs. Effectively what you are saying is that 5M+ voters in this country have too much power, which implies you think voters in general have too much power.

They help to guard one of the main fundamental safeguards against tyranny, that lefty progs have been attacking for decades.

I might not agree with them on everything but I recognize the importance of what they do. And i especially acknowledge the stupidity of pissing off your customer base, even inadvertently

Exactly, the problem is that the supporters are pro 2nd amendment and they see any lack of support of the NRA as anti- 2nd amendment and not supporting the NRA and not supporting the 2nd amendment isn't the same thing.

So when you support the NRA, you better be ready if you ever pull it because its followers are lemmings and will get pissed no matter what.

Given the events of the past few weeks, perhaps you could forgive the membership for thinking this way.

Yeti’s timing was terrible, and they also bungled the communication.

I don’t really care if they support the NRA or not, they make ice chests and cups. It does feel like they are doing a bit of crawfishing now since people have been blowing them up

They do. When visiting family in northern California, Yeti was fricking everywhere. I mean everywhere. Every damn guy who wore chinos and chukka boots had a yeti hat on

What do you think gives them their power?

Remember, NRA-ILA is a small fish compared to other lobbying groups.

What is “to much power” you wheeled retard?

Their power is derived primarily from their members. Who feel that they represent an interest in preserving the constitution and the second amendment.

And you suck at subject verb agreement.

Much like you suck at everything else

Because it's not true.

How does the NRA have "too much power?" You hate relative democracy?

He won’t be able to answer why they have too much power. The thread is just turning in that direction so he jumps on the train
