The guys who own that company are absolute (marketing) geniuses. They did $500,000,000 in sales last year and are looking to go public. All because we idiots in the South - mostly - have now normalized paying $300 for ice chests. We don't even blink when a stainless steel cup costs $30+.
That $500MM should keep the owners of Igloo and Coleman up at night - it's their fault for not having any meaningful innovation in 20 years. That soft Yeti? I know it's stupid-expensive, but show me an alternative.

I wouldn't say debunked. Ozark is a crappy version of yeti. But there are plenty of options out there that are just as nice as Yeti for half the price.

Every time I see the word Yeti, I think Bigfoot.

people that had etching machines were charging $20 to put LSU or A&M on the side of a cup. now they can just pay an extra $10 to yeti.

The best Yeti could do is "LSU"? No tiger eye, no logo? Weak on their part IMO.

Gotcha. I think most people stopped using yeti. No point to use them. They had to charge extra because of you screw up on a yeti tumbler you were out 40 bucks.
We charge $5 per side on our tumblers, which are the same thing as Yeti. We just buy direct from the factories that make them overseas.

yeah. my dad just bought a trophy and engraving shop after 10 years of retirement because he's bored. He tested out his powder coating on ozark trails and gave 3 or 4 to me because he didn't want to take a chance on a real yeti.

Yeti used to sell to promotional companies but stopped because they couldn't keep up with the demand. I'm sure they also realized there was no point in selling at wholesale prices when they could barely stock the item themselves at full price. But that's when the competition started.
We have a bunch of mess ups at our shop of the tumblers that we bring in. But we won't do yeti. No point to it.

yeah, his application to be a reseller was denied. right around the time RTIC and OT picked up the slack when they couldn't be kept on the shelf.
