refuse to get up a little earlier to enjoy this daylight they love so much

We aren’t all old boomers who get up at 0500 without alarm clocks, nor do we want to be.

Hell, it sucked as a kid. Get home from school and it’s fricking dark and cold outside so stuck inside. And what do kids do when stuck inside with not shite to do? Play on their phones or play video games. Lemme guess, you don’t like them doing that.

I love this time of year. Roasting in the dog days of summer is for the birds.
Someones gotta say this, so I guess I’ll do it. What time the Government decides the sun comes up has little to do with how hot it is that day. Hope this helps

The government gave you DST. You are now on regular standard time. The time that it's supposed to be YEAR ROUND.

The days will start getting longer in 6-7 weeks. It was nice to me getting dressed and driving to work in daylight.

Midnight is supposed to occur in the middle of the night. This is the way God intended.

What you are cheering is normal “standard time”, which we just started on Nov 2nd.. The artificially created time, DST, is what we left on NOV 2nd.

Thanks to Amazon increasing USPS parcel volume, I’ve got a carrier delivering in the dark some days until the holiday season ends. Had to pull her out of a very rural ditch tonight. No street lights and no driveway reflectors. Also, people that let their dogs roam free in the yard while we are attempting to deliver their parcels are a special kind of people.
