He was apparently here in Louisville, KY yesterday discussing the removal of Confederate statues. At the Free Public Library.

Part of that, he said, was removing the lasting Confederate statues.
When that happens, when monuments to the past are removed, history isn't erased, Landrieu said. When that happens, the opportunity for art to reflect all of history is opened up.

New Orleans removed another statue when Mitch's time as mayor was through because he just stood there and didn't do $hit.

Thankfully it was during spring break here so it was probably just a couple "community organizers" there.

Also, statue removal and ER trauma training by marine and front line army medics, but mainly statue removal reduces murder rate. Does nothing for violent crime rates but murder rate will decrease

Just embrace the statue removal, it will cure all of your city's ills: Crime gone, poverty gone, failing infrastructure gone, uneducated youth gone, budget deficit gone. It was the best thing to ever happen to the city of New Orleans(the actual city not talking about the train)

Crime has been falling across the city though. Lot of efforts may be paying off or it could be unrelated.

I'm sure it was the statues, 100% had to be the statues. I just need an explanation on why murders and crime are down across the rest of the country.
