WWTOTD: Bikers blocking off intersections while their little parade rides thru

This is the third time in a few years that this has happened to me, all below I10 in the Lafayette area.
Saturday morning was heading down the road with my family. Came to a T with a red light with two cars in front. Light turns green and a little man on a motorbike comes up and blocks the lane while his friends drive by. Pisses me off but oh well. After his 'gang' comes he doesnt move. He starts waving a group of jeeps by. At this point I decide to go around and turn into my lane of traffic. He counters by vroom vrooming up and blocking my bumper.
He is screaming something inaudible. The only thing to do at this point is run over him or just sit there and point and laugh. Being as I am an adult, I just sat there and took it.
tldr; Bikers are assholes that block traffic and I will refuse to look twice to save a life in the future.
Does this happen all the time down there?

If he didn't have the green light, all of them crossed the intersection illegally.
I see the downvote. It's still illegal. If it makes you feel better I won't be happy when you're broadsided on your bike in the middle of an intersection.

They use safety techniques and spread out and use all the lane for visibility but take it too far imo. They’ll put one bike RIGHT up against the middle line so I get RIGHT next to it in my lane too. (talking about interstate).

I have never encountered such a thing. Is this common in your area? Like they bikes were on the cross street and ran the red light, or they came from behind you, and the lead guy blocked you from proceeding to let all the bikes through?
Either one is BS, but i no longer allow traffic hiccups to really bother me.

I just hung my middle finger out the window and laughed at him. That was as passive aggressive as I could get at the moment with my kids in the car.
My son thought for sure we were all going to get hunted down and killed due to my confrontation. Which was nice because I got to talk to him about what terrible life choices led to the guy on a motorbike blocking traffic on a hot arse Saturday during mid day.

I had some block the road in front of a beer joint one night. It was dark and the traffic director almost got hit by me. I drove around him and then the group swarmed me at the next stop. Bunch of pussies yelling and carrying on. Found out the next day it was some B.A.C.A.’s. The leaders name was Birdhead or Birdbrain or Birdshit. Something like that. I dropped off a business brochure with all my contact info and photo at the beer joint the next day. Never heard from anyone.

Because I've seen it happen. Took them out of his fanny pack and threw them down as they were both driving. Dude ended up with 4 flats.

I've rode for 10 years and never blocked off traffic with friends. I've seen large group rides do it, and it's why I don't do it. Hate that kind of 100 deep ride bullshite. No point to it but to watch people be idiots.
