My view- if they want to block traffic then pay the money for police escorts. Our Jeep club has done many charity runs and we’ve always hired SO’s or LSP to escort.
I’ll add- if you’re wearing an orange vest blocking traffic so the plant hands can exit the parking lot, frick you, I’m going around you.

My hood had to make a collective effort that everytime we encountered this, the cops were called until they got the message that they couldn't block intersections illegally. They hired cops a time or two now they just follow the law.

Not up here in Ellick. The first was down there on the road from Scott to the West side of Maurice, there are some four ways on that road and they had them blocked off....not really a big deal out in the sticks, but I just can not understand how they think they can block off intersections in busier areas.

You're talking about motorcycles, not bicycles, right? Seems like from some of the comments people think you're talking about bicyclists.

Same thing happened to me a month or two back at the intersection of Old Jefferson and Stumberg where it now goes to Woman’s Hospital. Douches on bikes kept coming through the intersection for five minutes even though we had the green light. People were honking and they would just give the middle finger and keep on a coming. A mess of dumbassery it was.

It’s more important for him to pitch a hissy fit in front of his kids instead of making it a teachable moment about patience.

Lets get this straight, you support the guy blocking traffic.
1.) You indicate I threw a hissy fit, please confirm what I posted that indictes I threw a fit? I did have a biker illegally charge up to my front bumper and slam on his brakes and scream. That was not me, you must have been confused by my story. I will talk slower in a special thread just for you next time.
2.) Overreacting? By what way did I overreact? Was it the lawful driving on state roads that was an over reaction. Or a post on a website 48 hours post that described the situation?

Could you type slower? Apologies if I mischaracterized your being “pissed off” and driving around an illegal roadblock as a hissy fit, it seemed to strike a nerve.
This isn’t an everyday occurrence and it wasn’t worth your time being mad then or now rehashing in a thread IMO.
