$30/month for all of the ESPN channels doesn't sound so bad when I only watch ESPN during football season and end up paying $80+ for YoutubeTV or Hulu LiveTv.

I'm sure ESPN+ will soon go away

From what I have read ESPN+ will become ESPN Select at the same price with the same content. Also read that if you have ESPN through cable you'll be able to use that login to access this new service. I find it hard to believe that your cable subscription will get you access to all Premium content.

My guess is that WWE is on Premium and eventually, as contracts come up, more and more content, NHL, Soccer, PGA, college sports, will all end up on Premium and we'll be charged $30/mth to access it.

Hope they just combine the 2 with a new price

Next thing you know ESPN will cost 100 dollars a month like cable.

Yea $30 is reasonable during football season when I’m actually using it.

I fully expect this to cost damn near YouTube tv prices eventually.

Get ready for ads!! ESPN + has started to show ads in the last couple of weeks. When you start a new event, during the event etc.

And yes, ESPN plus accounts will be converted to this and then discontinued

Hopefully this gets repackaged into the disney/hulu/espn bundle?

No way. They want too much for it to be bundled at a discount.

Conversely... it looks like if you have a cable subscription (or like YouTube TV)... you'll have full access to the new DTC app when it comes online

This shite is getting exhausting.

Don't worry....soon there will be 1 company that will have all the channels you want that you can pay a monthly fee for. And you will be able to pay extra for a PPV if you want......

That would be absolutely shocking, but I would very pleasantly surprised.

If ESPN wants monster ratings they should put WrestleMania on the ESPN network channel instead of streaming only.

Ohh well that works. I get ESPN on sling so I’m guessing that’s good enough.

I think it will be part of the new ESPN standalone package but if you just want ESPN+, it will be rebranded ESPN Select for a little less than half the price of the full package.

I was just getting back into Wrestling because I have both Netflix and Peacock, but I am not paying $30/month for some premium sports package with shite I don't want just to catch an event every month or so.

Really bad decision by TKO. They were actually getting new and returning eyes on their product, and now they are going to paywall it again.
