Johnson wrestled for the NWA throughout the 60s, 70s and 80. In 1983, he and Tony Atlas became the first black tag team to win the WWF World Tag Team Championships as the Soul Patrol.
Rocky was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008.

Slight difference between Rocky Johnson dying at 75 and a bunch of 80s guys like Hercules and Big Boss Man dying of fatal heart attacks in their 40s.
Tony Atlas is still alive and having women kick him in the face despite a lot of drug abuse and a period of homelessness in his past.

Met a dude who wrestles part time on new years, just found out 3 days ago he died. He was in his 30s.

David and Mike died of drug overdoses with Mikes certainly being suicide.
Kerry and Chris used a gun. Kerry a .44 magnum.
Another brother died at 6 years old.
Gino Hernandez was a family friend who died of a drug overdose as did Chris Adams.
