Cain/Lesnar does not need to be for the WWE Title. My hope is that some sort of gimmick match between Brock and Kofi is announced that will allow Cain to cost Brock the title. They can then build to having that match at Survivor Series.
Have Fiend beat Rollins but then destroy the Universal Title because he doesn't need it and disappear for a few weeks. Tournament that builds to Survivor Series where Finals takes place. Fiend could return then.
The SD after Crown Jewel have Big E turn on Kofi to setup their match for Survivor Series for the WWE Championship

Nah. They needed to make Brock look strong. I had no issues there. Kofi had a good run and will be involved. Probably will win it back after bs from Velazquez or whatever his name is.

What the hell would be the the point of Cain other than to build Brock-a HOFer who needs no push?
Cain’s back is pretty fricked from what I understand, so it won’t be like he’s a long term guy.
That’s pushing every other giant down the pecking order.
At this point I’m convinced Vince keeps the bigs on the roster so they go nowhere else.
Unless this all about build Rey’s son’s debut-which I’m not sure anyone cares about.

Friday Night Smackdown crushed the ratings ....it was an incredibly produced show in fact I don't think I've ever seen a wrestling TV show (including WM) presented that well.
The story lines are still iffy....I'm hoping they get better after the draft and the rosters are set. Valasquez angle seems forced and rushed but I get they wanted it on the first Fox show. The fact that they had to bury Kofi in a title match after the whole Kofi-Mania thing is kind of the shits but I agree with a lot of sentiments that Kofi's reign absolutely never progressed after WM.
I'm hoping KO and Shane is truly over and we don't see Shane on TV in a match for a long time.
SD needs to bring in Shayna Baszler and put the belt on her for Becky to chase going into WM .....the reaction that Becky got from the crowd last night (before the rub from the Rock) was pretty impressive.
I will say this though.....after Taker, Stone Cold, Sting, etc were all advertised I'd be pissed if I went to that show to see those guys and none of them made the cut but fricking Reigns v Rowan in a damn lumberjack match made TV.....seemed strange to me.
All in all I imagine Fox was happier than a pig in shite with it......but it's a marathon not a Sprint.....let's check back in in Fox this time next year.
ETA What do we have 4 matches for HIAC now......I'm sure they will add some BS between now and tomorrow night but how the hell are we supposed to pick that crap rt3? I suggest the top 5 in the standings all get bonus points going in due to the inept booking by the promotion! I kid I kid.
