wtf happened on I10E?

I almost caused a pileup while changing the song. Went from flowing fine to dead stop. 3 cars were in the median bc they didn't trust their brakes

2,400 miles of interstate through 7 cities of over 1 Million people...only traffic is in Baton Rouge.
